To tackle poverty and disadvantage, the Execution Charitable Trust (ECT) has chosen to support multi-purpose community organisations that:
  • Are based in deprived communities in the UK
  • Are led by passionate members of the local community
  • Provide a wide range of activities and opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds
  • Enhance the social and economic well-being of the community
  • Enhance people's self-confidence, skills and employment prospects
  • Reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation
  • Strengthen citizen engagement in decision-making processes
  • Campaign for better government or corporate policies and public services
